My name is Andrew Mueller and I started The Modern Forester in 2009 to promote sustainable forestry and timber management.

I am a forestry graduate of Michigan State University, experienced land manager and nationally trained in silviculture, timber sales and harvest operation. I am an expert in timber appraisal and forest management planning with certification as a Michigan Registered Forester, American Tree Farm Inspector, and member of the Society of American Foresters.

If you have questions about your woods, need help making a plan or selling timber, please reach out to myself or another professional forester for assistance.
